The Judicial Branch
  • The judicial branch of the United States government is a system of federal courts and judges.
  • The highest court in the US is the supreme court. There are nine supreme court justices.
  • Members of the Judicial Branch are appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate.
  • Federal judges can only be removed through impeachment by the House of Representatives and conviction in the Senate.
